# ADED OPTIONS AND OPTION GROUPS FOR BOLT ORDERS
# Options:
Every product (NOTE: besides the products with attached option groups) and ingredient can be set as an option and then be attached to an option group, which in it's turn to a product (NOTE: besides the products which set as an option). Option name, price, and markup can differ from product/ ingredient name, price and markup, which provides the maximum flexibility when using a product as a separate product and as an option at the same time. For example: On a menu, Coca-cola can be listed both as a product and option attached to another product (Pizza, Burger and etc.). Or Fillet can be listed both as an ingredient attached to a recipe of a product and an option attached to another product (Pizza, Burger and etc.).# Option groups:
There are the following types and modes of option groups:Types:
- Required: Customer must select an option from the group
- Optional: Customer can select an option from the group
Modes:
- Single option: Customer must/can select only one option from the group
- Multi option: Customer must/can select more than one option from the group
- Multi-select: Customer must/can select more than one the same option from the group
After setting Option group's name, type and mode, the options (of the corresponding location) can be attached to the option group. For ingredient-options it is possible to set different quantity in different option groups. For example: In one option group quantity of Fillet can be set 20 gram, in another option group 50 gram. NOTE: Set quantity (50 gram) will be displayed in both Bolt and Jitmeal POS application.
After saving the option group (s) can be attached to a product (s) and after product is sold attached options will be written from the stock in corresponding quantities.
It is also possible to filter and see only products/ingredients which set as an option as well as products/ingredients which are not set as an option. Both Options and Option groups have statuses and only Active options and options groups will be visible to customers. There is also possibility to rearrange both the sequence of Options (in Option groups) and Option groups (in products). Moreover, it's now possible to not conduct inventorisation for an ingredient by just deactivating the ''Use inventorisation'' toggle button in the ingredient creation action.
